Assembling the Broken Pieces – Fulfilling the Dream

Dr. Gerri Wilson Wright is the CEO/founding partner at Wilson Wright Consulting, LLC, and
a Professor at the University of Arizona Global Campus. She is a member of the UAGC Doctoral Advisory Committee, a member of the Forbes School of Business & Technology HR Advisory Committee, a founding officer of the Ashford University SHRM Chapter, and former Chief of Staff at Perkins Management Services Company. Her professional experience spans over 25 years in multiple disciplines that include Public Relations, Information Technology, Human Resource Management, Corporate Administration, and Entrepreneurship.

Dr. Wilson Wright sits on the board of directors for the Brewerville Civic Association, Inc., a non-profit organization, and is the recipient of several awards of recognition for her tireless efforts since its inception in 1987. She is also a recipient of the superior leadership award for her role in the SHRM Chapter at Ashford University and a member of several honor societies including Golden Key International, Alpha Sigma Lambda, and Sigma Beta Delta.

A motivational speaker and an educator, Dr. Wilson Wright has held the title of keynote speaker at several major events that include the launch of the Center for Women’s Leadership at UAGC, Ashford University Commencement Faculty Meet and Greet, several Human Resources webinars and symposiums, and most recently the 2023 Commencement Speaker at
UAGC, to name a few.

A lifelong learner, she has obtained several certifications for specialized training in information
systems, human resource management, and corporate training. Without taking a break, she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.A. in Public Relations and Marketing, Summa Cum Laude with a master’s degree in Organizational Management – concentration in Leadership from Ashford and earned her doctorate degree in Organizational Development with a focus in Organizational Diversity from the University of Arizona Global Campus, graduating in the top five percentile of her class.

Her innate love for humanity and the underserved propels her to positively impact society through volunteerism, fundraising activities for various charities, funding educational scholarships for students in Africa, educating the impoverished on basic hygiene to prevent infectious disease and improve living conditions, and offering random acts of kindness. She and her husband Ernest have three beautiful children, Stella, Arnell and Ernest, Jr. She enjoys traveling, cooking and best of all, spending time with her very close-knit family.
